Iliana is the teacher of the Tuesday weekly course in Urbanraum!

She is the founder of “Berlin Contemporary Dance” (BCD), an independent contemporary dance school in Berlin and online, that focuses on teaching people from all backgrounds and levels Floorwork and Acrobatic Contemporary Dance!

She is a contemporary dancer, dance instructor, choreographer and electrical engineer, graduated from the National School of Dance in Athens/Greece, from SEAD in Austria and from the National Technical University of Athens.

As a performer she has collaborated with several choreographers in Berlin and in 2018 she presented her solo production as performer and choreographer, “DUAL”, in the Berlin Performing Arts Festival.

Iliana has more than 10 years of teaching experience. Her teaching stule is highly physical and practices primarily floor work, floor acrobatics, improvisation, body awareness and fluency. She has independently directed, choreographed and produced Performance Projects in Berlin with her students in 2015, 2016 and 2018, combining them with Improvisation and physical theater performances, finally presenting double and triple events to the public.

In 2019 she became a mother and she is currently developing “Berlin Contemporary Dance”, her dream school of Floorwork and Acrobatic Contemporary Dance in Berlin and online.
